If there's hope for humanity it's in software

These "radio" efforts (self-produced audio for the web) are dedicated to Buckminster Fuller, software developers all over the planet and the principle of progressive ephemeralization - the process of doing more with less. If present trends continue, we'll Java and the Spoken Word soon do everything with nothing, which could have serious economic consequences. :) All audio here was recorded by me, using either a portable Sony DAT (which Liz loaned me) or caputured directly to the hard drive of my Fuji Lifebook. I sometimes even use a RadioShack portable telephone (retail ~ US$49) as a wireless hands-free microphone which also has the added advantage of accomodating hands-free recording of telephone conversations. Basically, the tools used to capture, massage and convert the audio to mp3 are all free or really cheap. As such, there's no streaming audio server here.
